Of R. R. #1 Turnerville, Kent Co., ON. The DN 25/07/45 reported that the young soldier who had been in a German POW camp for three months had been repatriated among other Canadian prisoners. 

German P.O.W. as of May 31st, 1945. Liberated at end of war.

The KCFA 19/07/45 reported that the hospital ship Letitia had docked at Halifax NS., with six Kent County boys who might be going to hospital in London rather their homes. Pte. Landuyt [ listed as R.R. 1 Tupperville] was on the list. 

Discharged November 1945.
