The son of Mr. and Mrs. David Lambkin of Dresden. The DT 4/06/42, reported James was stationed at Camp Borden, ON. and was spending a few days at his home.

The DT 18/02/43 reported that Pte. Lambkin stationed at Niagara-on-the-Lake had returned to the army after spending his furlough  with his parents.

The DT 27/04/44 reported that Cpl. J. W. Lambkin, stationed at Debert, NS spent the week-end with his parents  he and his wife were returning to Nova Scotia after their short stay.

Canadian Service Medal and 1939 to 1945 Star.

Discharged February 1946.
