Bill was born and raised in Wheatley, ON.  During WW2, he joined the Perth regiment. He then transferred to the First Special Service Force [The Devil’s Brigade]. Sgt. Lamb fought up the Italian Boot and into Southern France.  He returned to Wheatley, married and had four sons.  He operated his own fishing vessel for many years.  Bill was a life member with the R C Legion Br. 324 in Wheatley.

He was deceased in 1996.
