The son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Laird of Dresden. The brother of Lieut. Jean Laird. Cpl and his wife were reported visiting his parents. DT 31/08/44 Cpl. Laird along with his wife and children Shelia and Peter, still stationed in Toronto were visiting with his parents twice in October, 1944. DT 12/10/44 and 19/10/44.
