Supplemental Information	Born in Chatham Twsp. the son of Edward Ladd and Yvonne Poole. A veteran of WWII he worked for the City of Chatham for 38 years. Married to Eleanor who passed away in 1963. He is survived children Lorraine (Carlsen), Reg, Bryce, Naida (VanDyken), Shelia, Wade and Wendy (Hands). Alvin was 89 years old when he died 15 April, 2009. Internment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, ON.
