Pte. David J. Labombarbe transferred from the 91st to the 186th Battalion, going overseas in March 1917. He served as Bugler while in England, and proceeded to France May 28th, 1917, transferring to the 18th Battalion, August 24th, 1917, he was wounded, having a gunshot wound in the hip. He was admitted to “King George Hospital” London, and one month later entered Convalescent Hospital. He was returned to train again at Bramshott.
