Prior to the war Thomas was employed at the Dominion Glass Plant in Wallaceburg. He went over seas in September of 1944. Married to Helen, Mrs. King received information that her husband was MIA in November of 1944 an that he was a prisoner-of-war of the Germans 26/12/44, his new address was No. 91861, Oflog 12-b Germany. Captain King returned home 16/05/45.
