Born in 1922 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Will King of Dresden, ON. Ralph enlisted with the Army 12/10/1942 but transferred to the RCAF.  Ralph was still Pte. King when he was home on a 48 hour leave from London, ON.  He was stationed in Lachine PQ.  

The DT 8/04/43 reported that Pte. King was on a weekend leave with his parents in Dresden.

In April 1944, it was reported that Ralph had successfully completed his course at at Trenton in Equipment Administration, standing second in his class of 50 with a grade of 88%. He would be posted to RCAF Mont Joli, PQ. DT 15/06/44  In August 1944 AC1 King was stationed at Mont Joli, PQ. Was reported home for two-weeks furlough. DT 17/08/44 

He served in Canada and in Newfoudland before being discharged in 1945.

In 1980 he was living in London, ON.
