Son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy King of Jeanette’s Creek, Kent Co., ON.

Jack was reported home on furlough in January of 1942 from his training at a special electrical course at New Glasgow. In March of 1943 he was reported to be with the 1st Kent Regt. while on leave at his parents home.  In July of 1942 John and brother Tome were home in Tilbury. Jack would be returning to his regiment in New Westminister BC and Tom to Halifax. CDN 1/07/42
