Elijah arrived in England aboard the S. S. Lapland and was TOS with the 25th Batt. at Bramshott.
While at Bramshott on 15 February,1918 he was SOS with the 25th and TOS with the 4th Batt. at Bramshott.On 29/08/18 Elijah was SOS from the 4th and TOS with the 47th Batt. at Bramxhott. On 10/09/1918 he was assigned to a mission with the 47th in the field.
Shortly after 17/09/18 he was wounded in action and removed to England. CDP 21/09/18
After recouperating from his injury on 23/09/18 he was TOS to the 47th Batt at Witley. On 22/10/18 he was on route to 1st C.C.D. in the field. He was then TOS on 20/11/18 he was reassigned to the 4th Batt.
It was reported that Pte. Kicknosway was aboard ship sailing from Liverpool 12/12/18. and TOS with No.1 D.D. in London, ON. He was removed from the ship and was at Kimmel Park 23/12/18. On 4/ 01/1919 proceeded from Witley proceeding to Canada.
He was discharged “On Demobilization after being “Illegally Absent” from London, ON. 10/01/1919.
