The son of Sarah Kennedy of Croton, ON. A single farmer. Attestation: 17/02/1916 at Florence. 18 years old 5’ 8”, Complexion: Dark, Eyes: Grey, Hair: Black. To: 149th Batt. CEF.

His unit sailed 28/03/17 aboard the S.S. Lapland arrived at Liverpool 7/04/17. 

20/04/17 Taken On Strength (TOS) at Bramshot. Transferred to the Cdn. Forestry Corp 26/04/17 and TOS with the Forestry Corp 30/04/17. 

He was reported admitted to the Lucknow Canadian Field Ambulance suffering from measles. Hospital 5/01/18. Transferred to the 9th General Hospital at Rouen, France. He was discharged from hospital 8/01/18. 

He was sent overseas to France 21/05/17 with the 37th Coy. He was transferred to the 20th Reserve Batt. 26/05/17

7/01/18 he was transferred from LaHarve, France to the 9th General Hospital for treatment of “Atrophey of the right arm. “Right fore arm deformed from a break. He was also slightly flat-footed.” The deformity of the right arm was not from his service in the Army but from a injury from playing hockey in 1910.

He was discharged as “Medically Unfit”. He was discharged from H.M.S. (Medically Unfit) 26/05/1919. His address at his discharge at London, ON. was 219 William St., Chatham, ON. He would later be at 16 ½ Pasadena Ave., Highland Park, Michigan, USA.
