Born in Fletcher, Kent Co., ON., 16 December, 1924. the son of Thomas Edward and Margaret (nee Jubenville) Kearns, of No. Highway, Raleigh Twsp., Kent Co., ON. Husband of Rosemary Joan (nee Sheppard) for 64 years.  . [ Rosemary was still living, residing at: 108-410 Queen St. Petrolia, ON. Father of Nancy, Aileen, Joan (Hind), 1948 (wife of Brian Hind)  Susan (1953)  and Peter Henry (1956) (died 21/11 1999).  

Henry served in the RCAF from August 1942 going overseas in March of 1943 and served until May of 1946 in England.  The CDN 1/06/44 reported that LAC Kearns was serving with the RCAF in England. It is reported that he married overseas and brought Rosemary Joan to Canada as a ‘War Bride’. He resided at R. R. # 6 Chatham when he passed away 20 December, 2009. St. Peter’s Parish – Roll of Honour.

Henry worked at International Harvester for 38 Years, retiring in 1981.
