D. E. Kearney

 

Born in Brook-Alvinston but moved to Ridgetown, Kent Co., ON. as a child. the son of Delmer and Flossie (nee McCaw), the brother of Max, Doug, Ted and Anna (Evans). The family moved to Ridgetown, ON. where Delmer opened Kearney’s Garage (located where the current Foodland is located). Brother of Douglas V361816 and Robert M. RCOC.

Ted was reported to have enlisted in the RCAF in April 1942 and received his “Wings” at Hagersville, ON in November of 1943.

After the war he became the vice-president of Imperial Tobacco Company. After retirement he resided in Lancaster, ON. Kris Kearney-Richards 23/05/14.
