Resident Tilbury

Married with a daughter Nancy in April of 1943, Bert was at the RCAF Training School at Lachine, PQ.   Bert was reported on a week-end leave at home again. TT 29/04/42.

It was reported that Mrs. Kay and daughter were moving from Windsor back to Tilbury. TT 1/04/43. The CDN 24/03/44 was reported returning to No.1 B&G (Bombing and Gunnery) School, at Jarvis, ON. This after a brief furlough spent in Tilbury with his wife and “little daughter”.  The CDN 14/10/44 reported that Cpl. Bert Kay was on a “few days furlough” from the RCAF Bombing & Gunnery school at Jarvis to be at home with his wife and little daughter.
