Judd, William A

 

Private William Judd enlisted in England with the 1st battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, in 1890; served seven years, 208 days, in India, fought in the Black Mountain Campaign; was called in 1899 and served throughout the Boer War in South Africa.

Private William Judd went overseas with the 99th  Battalion June 1st, 1916, was stationed with the 35th Reserve Battalion in England until June 19th, 1916, proceeding at once to France with the 18th Battalion. He was invalided to England the early part of September suffering with rheumatic fever and pneumonia, receiving hospital treatment until leaving for Canada October 20th, 1916. He arrived at Quebec November 3rd, 1916.

Private William Judd received his honorable discharge at Quebec November 3rd, 1916, being medically unfit for further military service.
