Pte. Regimental number: 931600. Reference; RG 150, Accession 1992-93/166, Box: 4892 – 9, Item: #337383, PDF: B4892-SO09. Date of Birth: 16/12/1893, at Elmstead, ON.  Living in Dresden, ON. at enlistment. A labourer. Next of Kin: Mr. Noah Johnston.

Attestation 3/10/1916. Age 22 years 9 months, height 5’ 10”. Complexion: Dark, Eye:Brown, Hair: Black. Medical, 3/10/1916 at Dresden, ON. “FIT”.To No.2 Construction Batt. Noah had indicated that his mother would receive $15.00 per month from his Assigned Pay starting in April 1917..

Arrived in England aboard the S. S. Southland. Noah would serve in England and France with No.2 Construction Batt. He would be awarded  for “Good Conduct” in the field. Transferred to England 14/12/18 and posted to the N.S. Region.

28/12/18 he was stationed at Bramshot taken On Strength MD. – Rhyl 28/12/18. He would return to Canada aboard the S.S. Olympic arriving at Halifax 17/01/19 and was granted a furlough with allowance from 4/02/19 to 4/02/19 and  was Discharged from HMS 7/0219. He received the British War Medal and the Victory Medal. .

It was reported that Noah was living on Richmond St. in Dresden.

His Date of Death was 23 June, 1973 at Westminister Hospital, London, ON.
