Born 26 Dec. 1926 the son of Earle Russell Jenner and Mary Estella (nee Hazelton), of R. R. # 2 Merlin, Ontario. Found on family grave marker at Pardoville Cemetery, Born 26 Dec. 1926.

Appears on the “Muster Roll” of the 2nd Bn., Kent Regiment (MG), N.P.A.N. (date unknown). The CDN 27/03/45 reported that he had enlisted in 1939 with the First Kents, how he was listed on the 2nd Kents muster roll is unknown.  Joseph would transfer to the Hamilton Light Infantry to serve overseas.  He would land on Juno Beach on D-Day 6 June, 1944.

Reported as wounded CDN 14/08/44.  CDN 14/08/44 and returned to his unit in October after he recovered.   He would be wound twice the second would be a fatal wound.

Age: 29, DOW – Date of Death: 07/03/1945, in Germany.

Reported as wounded on 8 July, 1944

Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead, Grave/Memorial Reference: VIII. E. 16.
