The son of Mrs. William Crackel of Grand Ave., West, Chatham.  Brother of  Helen (Harvey), Mary-Lou (McCormick, Jean (Griffith) and Richard, Donald and Nancy (Crackel). Husband of Jean (nee Padbury), father of Linda (Havens) and Susan (Dozois). Jack worked at Navistar International in Chatham for thirty years.

The CDN 17/07/44 reported that OS. Jacobs was home from HMCS Hunter at Windsor for one day at home. The CDN 17/08/44 reported that OS Jacobs had left Chatham to ‘take up his duties’ at HMCS Cornwallis, NS.  

Jack passed away 2 November, 2011 in Chatham, ON., interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
