Allan was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Jackson of Wheatley, ON. He was the husband of Vallerie Evelyn (nee Frosdick) and they married in 1944. Allan was a brother to William, Lorne and Omar Jackson.

The CDN 3/02/43 reported that Allan and P/0. George Robinson of Windsor spent the weekend with relatives in the village.

Reported returning to Canada aboard the troopship Britannic, expected to arrive at Quebec City, on the 14^th of August, 1945. CDN 10/08/45.
