Sergeant Arnold A. Irwin trained with the High School Cadets at Leamington, Ont.

Sergeant Arnold A. Irwin transferred from the 91st to the 186th Battalion in March 1916, going overseas in March 1917. He was attached to the 4th Reserve until September 7th, when he proceeded to France, transferring to the 18th Battalion. From the 18th Batt he was transferred to Motor Machine Gun Brigade May 1918, from there to Can Corps Survey Section June 1918. Served at Amiens, Arras, Cambrai, Denain Valenciennes and Mons. Army of Occupation Cologne, Dec 11th to Jan 27th 1919.

Discharged at London April 23rd 1919 due to demobilisation .
