Private Nelson W. Hyatt trained with 186th Battalion and while in Chatham took a bomber’s course. He embarked for England March 26th, 1917, and trained as a Signaller at Bramshott, proceeding to France February 27th, 1918, attached to the 18th Battalion. He was wounded August 8th, 1918 and was sent to hospital in England. Left England January 1919.
Discharged at London February 15th, 1919. Medically unfit for further service due to wounds received on active service.
