Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hughson  and Louisa (nee Huckle) Hughson of Mull. Alvin had a sister Mrs. W. Neilson also living at Mull.

In December of 1942 AC2 Hughson was stationed at RCAF Manning Pool, Toronto when he spent a week-end with is parents in Mull. CDN 4/12/42

The CDN 5/05/43 reported LAC Hughson and Mrs. Hughson of Windsor spent Saturday at Alvin’s parents home in Mull. The CDN 31/12/43 reported that Sgt. Hughson and his wife of Brantford spent New Year’s with Mr. and Mrs. William Hughson.

He was married to Blanche (nee Badder ) and had a daughter Barbara when he returned from overseas 3 August, 1945, on the troopship “Stratheden”, which docked at Quebec City.  The family, besides Alvin, Blanche and Barbara included Glenda, Nancy,  John all living in Thamesville.  

The CDN 26/09/44(P) reported that he had graduated as a pilot in September of 1943 he was serving with the RCAF overseas.  

Sgt. Hughson had a sister Mrs. W. Neilson of Mull. CDN 3/08/45(P).

John passed away 4 October, 1992 at the age of 71 years and in buried at the Mayhew-Mount Pleasant Cemetery – Thamesville ON.
