Bryon was reported in the CDN Aug. 1944 had arrived from Vernon BC to spend two weeks furlough with relatives and friends in Wallaceburg and Blenheim.

Byron and his wife arrived from Vernon BC. in time for Christmas with the family before departing for the east coast. CDN 20/12/44

Byron passed away in 1950.
