Was in service a little over four and a half years. Served overseas four years in Germany, Belgium, Holland, France and England. Was on Occupational Duty in Germany. Promoted to Messenger Despatcher  and was awarded the Oak Leaf for service in Germany and a certificates for Majesty’s Despatcher, presented at the Armouries in Chatham, Was slightly wounded several times and hospitalized in England.

Discharged March 9th, 1946.
