| Supplemental Information | The son of Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Houston of R.R. #3 Chatham Twsp., Kent Co., ON. Enlisted 22/10/40 and was serving in England when it was reported that he married Miss Lawson the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Lawson of Napier Place, Bainsford in Scotland. The couple were married at the Grahamston Parish Church, Falkirk, Scotland. The bride had been in service with the A.T. S. in Edinburgh, Scotland where they met. Capt. C. A. Stewart, RCAMC, a cousin of L/Cpl. Was supposed to be groomsman, but due to his military duties he could not attend and the brides brother was deputized to stand in.
