Date of Birth 10/09/1921 at Dewer Lake, Sask. The son of Carman and Rachel Horley of Port Lambton and Sarnia ON. He had two brothers also in the RCN. 

It was reported that Wallace was serving on HMCS Venture a ‘Guard Ship’ at Halifax, NS.

Assigned to HMCS Alberni, a Corvette 14/01/44 was struck by a torpedo from the German U-Boat U480. The Alberni sank in 20 seconds in the English Channel south east of the Isle of Wight. Stocker Horley has no known grave.

He is commemorated on the Steinhoff Memorial in Wallaceburg and the Halifax War Memorial.
