Private John Hooper transferred from 91st to the 186th Battalion going overseas March 26th,1917. He proceeded to France attached to the Battalion, serving ten months when he sustained a compound fracture of the right ankle, and was invalided to Canada December 7th, 1917. He underwent medical treatment in the Convalescent Hospital London, until June 1918.
Private John Hooper received his discharge June 27th, 1918, being medically unfit for further military service.
