Glen enlisted in the Kent Regt. 20/01/1943 at the age of 19 years. He saw service overseas in the United Kingdom and was discharged from service 16/1/1945.

Returning to Canada and Dresden where he would live out his life. He married Norma and they had a daughter Barbara and a son Barry. Jack worked at the Canadian Canners in Dresden. A life member of Canadian Legion Branch 113 where he was also a past President of the Branch.

Jack passed away Tuesday, 11 November, 2014 hours after attending what would be his last Remembrance Day service, he was one of the last remaining WWII veterns in Dresden. Internment at Dresden Cemetery. CDN-OBIT. 13/11/14 (P)
