The daughter of Arthur and Lulu Holden, sister of Ruth (RCAF-WD), Eleanor (Pratt), Marg (Wilkinson), Phyllis (Henderson), Ruth (Riley), Frani (Stephens) and Bill.  The CDN 28/09/42(P) reported that Freda was the first female enlistment from Ridgetown. Her first station would be in Ottawa, ON. in the RCAF postal Division.

Of Ridgetown. In 1943 it was reported that Freda then stationed in Montreal was in hospital recovering from a throat infection.
