Born 6/09/1923 at Morpeth, Howard Twsp, Kent County, ON. He enlisted in the army 12/10/43.

Jack served in the Battle of the Falaise Gap in France. He captured 22 German soldiers single handed. His Major told Jack that he was going to put in a recommendation for him to get a Military Medal. Unfortunately the Major was killed in action and Jack never knew if he had recommended him.

Jack passed away 15 September, 2007.
