The husband of Mrs. C. J. Hind who was having a short vacation in Halifax while her husband is in port. CDN 20/07/44
It was reported in the CDN 22/12/44 that Clayton was on a twenty-one day convalescent leave with his wife and son at his parents Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hind of the 12th Concession, Chatham Twsp.
The CDN 16/01/45 reported that Clayton was returning to the east coast after a furlough he spent in Dresden wit his wife and son Kenneth also his parents and brothers.
