The son of Mrs. Mrs. A. Hiller, of 163 Thames St., Chatham, ON. The brother of L/Cpl. Paul Alphonse, Essex Scottish Regt.

The CDN 2/09/44 reported that Cpl. Vincent B. Hiller had been wounded in Italy during enemy actions in Italy. It was believed that he was in hospital in England. It was reported that the two brothers did meet. 

Transferred to the R.C.R. and saw service with the Mediterranean Forces.
