The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hill of 459 Queen St., Wallaceburg. Prior to her enlistment Audrey was prominent in local ameture theatrical, musical and athletic circles. The WN 17/06/43(P) reported that Audrey had joined the Women’s Royal Canadian Naval Service and was beginning her service at Galt, ON. 

The WN 7/09/44 reported Wren Hill spending her furlough with he parents. She would return to HMCS Cornwallis to resume her duties as a Lap Technician in the Navy.
