Born in 1921 at Tilbury, East, Kent Co., ON. The son of Ferdinand and Adeline (nee Audette) Heyd. The brother of Lousa (Reaume), Jerome, Leo, Cecilia, Theresa, Victor and Oscar.

The husband of Mildred (nee Ouellette); the father of James, Brian, Kenneth and Terrance.

Elmer passed away 5 March, 1964  at the age of 64 years.  Internment at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Chatham, ON.
