Overseas with B Company of R.C.R. Arrived December 17th, 1939 in Great Britain. Served with a Unit in France until May 1940, returned to England was injured, after hospitalization found unit gone to Italy, placed in holding unit and after training with Engineers returned to France on D+4 then on the Germany through the Siegfried line. Remained  in England after discharge eventually came back to Canada June 1969, after service with Metropolitan Police Force in London, England.

The WN reported on 23/03/44 that Stan was on ‘active service’.

Discharged June 1945.
