The son of Mr. and Mrs. David Heath of Windsor, ON. Capt. Heath was married and a little son were living on Wellington St., West in Chatham. Capt. Heath was reported stationed at Camp Ipperwash.   Captain at No. 12 BTC at Chatham ON. Captain and Mrs. Heath were living on Wellington St. West, Chatham, ON. in December of 1942. CDN 17/12/42. He would be transferred to Camp Ipperwash, ON.    

Prior to his enlistment Robert was the manager of the Chatham Kresge store.

Captain at No. 12 BTC at Chatham ON. Captain and Mrs. Heath were living on Wellington St. West, Chatham, ON. in December of 1942. CDN 17/12/42.  He would be transferred to Camp Ipperwash, ON.    

Captain Heath and Mrs. Heath (nee Mary Hastings) were reported returning from their honeymoon at Limberlost Lodge in Muskoka to Chatham. CDN 6/07/42 Captain at No. 12 BTC at Chatham ON. Captain and Mrs. Heath were living on Wellington St. West, Chatham, ON. in December of 1942. CDN 17/12/42.  He would be transferred to Camp Ipperwash, ON. 

The CDN 5/04/43 reported he had returned to Camp Ipperwash after a week-end leave with his wife. The CDN 27/12/43 reported that Capt. Heath and wife Mary along with their son spent Christmas with his family in Windsor.

Captain and Mrs. Heath were reported visiting Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Heath in Windsor, ON. CDN 15/02/44.

The CDN 31/07/44 Reported that Capt. Heath then taking a special course at Vernon, BC. had received serious injuries while training. The CDN Aug. 44 reported that Captain Heath was critically ill but his temperature was down and the attending physicians were more hopeful of his recovering. Mrs. Heath and baby son were vacationing at Colchester, ON. She was notified in a letter from her husband. 

Attending physicians had decided against an operation due to the fact the patient was believed to be hemoraging internally. Mrs. Heath (nee Mary Hastings) was flying to Toronto to be by her injured husband.

The CDN 13/09/44 reported that Capt. Heath who was injured in training on the west coast was reported in the Brampton  Military Hospital and was making encouraging progress towards recovery. 

The CDN 23/01/45 reported that Capt. Heath was reported stationed at Camp Ipperwash when on a week-end leave to visit home.
