Glenn received his basic training at BTC No. 12 in Chatham, ON. and then was posted to Barriefield Camp in Kingston. It was while driving a hospital ambulance in Kingston and was sitting in the ambulance in front of the hospital that he suffered a coronary thrombosis. He was immediately attended by five doctors and nurses but failed to respond.

Date of Death:13/10/1943; Age:40. Signalman Healey’s body was returned to Wheatley were it was given a full military funeral.

Supplemental Information Born 21/02/1903 in Romney Twsp. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Healey, of Wheatley. Glenn attended public and high school in Wheatley. He learned the trade of a mechanic and worked that until 1942 when he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Signals Corps.
