The WN 18/11/43 reported that Albert was training at Camp Ipperwash when home on a two week leave to visit his parents. Pte. Hayward was training at Camp Ipperwash when he had a leave to visit friends in Sarnia. WN 9/12/43
He was reported home on a 30 day leave after serving two years overseas. WN 16/08/45.
