Appears on the “Muster Roll” of the 2nd Bn., Kent Regiment (MG), N.P.A.N. (date unknown). Stanley would later transfer to the Hastings & Prince Edward “Hasty Pats” Regt.
The CDN 1/06/44 reported that Stanley was overseas. Reported returning from overseas duty on the Ile de France, expected to dock at Halifax NS., 1-2 October, 1945. CDN 29/09/45. CBC-RH.
Two sons Dennis and Keith and a daughter Elizabeth (Beth) all believed to be in Courtney, BC. After the war Stanley worked at the Volkeswagen dealership in Wallaceburg where he and Joyce were living.
