Regimental number: 2355549. Date of Birth: 31/10/1895. Reference: RG150, Accession 1992-93/166, Box 4171-50, Item: 449225, PDF: B4171-S050. A single labourer. From Erieau, ON. Next of Kin: Gilbert Hawley (father) and brother of Burton 880424.  Attestation: 27/10/17 at Windsor, ON.

Present Age: 19 yrs. 11 mths., Height: 5’ 8 ½”, Girth: 37 ½”, Complexion: Fair, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Black. Hearing OK, Vision: 20/20. Tattoo of the American flag and Liberty.  He had a scar on his right wrist. 

Reported at C.S. Witley – hospitalized 7/06/18 for VDG from 7/06 to discharge 3/20/18. 

Departed Halifax aboard the S.S. Missanabie for England. 

It appears that Gordon was hospitalized 3/02/18 at Connaught – Aldershot 7/06/18 for VDG and discharged 2/06/18. He served only in England. Was admitted to Canadian Special Hospital – Witley in September 1918 for Gonorrhea 3/02/18 to 2/10/18.

He was returned to Canada 12/07/1919 embarked at Liverpool 3/07/19 arrived 10/07/19 arriving at Quebec.
