Private John A. Hawgood left Canada for overseas March 26th, 1917, and trained at Bramshott until July 1st, when, on account of an infected eye, he was transferred to do Forestry work, being attached to the 121st Canadian Forestry Corps, Aviemore, InvernessShire, Scotland. He served with this unit until he was repatriated to Canada, no wounds or hospital treatment.
