He was born in Birmingham, England on January 25, 1913.  The husband of Margaret (nee Medland). CDN 12/09/45. A son was born in June of 1951 CDN 9/06/51 and a daughter in November of 1952. CDN26/11/52.

He enlisted in Chatham and his address was 94 Delaware at the time of enlistment.

Went overseas in 1941 and served in England, Italy, Germany, France, Belgium and Holland. Was mentioned in Dispatches. Promoted to the rank of Regimental Sergeant Major ( W.O.1)  He was in Africa after his ship was torpedoed.

Arrived from overseas on S. S. “Louis Pasteur” CDN 1/09/45. IODE. Married with a 4 ½ year old son arrived home in Chatham 12 September, 1945. CDN 12/09/45. A son was born in July/1937, April / 1939, May/1940 June of 1951 CDN 9/06/51 and a daughter in November of 1952. CDN26/11/52.  British Home Child
