Private Harris left for overseas Sept. 1, 1915 and after training Bramshott, proceeded to France Aug. 6 1916, transferring to the Pioneer Section.

He continued in active service with but one leave in Feb. 1918 until Nov 1, 1918 when he was killed in action after having been promoted to Corporal.
