Private Roy Harris went overseas with 128th Battalion, August 10th,1916, training at Bramshott Camp until December 10th, 1916, when he was transferred to the 50th Canadian Battalion, France. He was admitted to Hospital in France April 12th, 1917, suffering with trench fever, and after again joining his unit, was gassed at Vimy Ridge August 26th, 1917. Afterwards, entering Warrington Hospital, England for treatment.
