The CDN 9/09/44 reported that LAW Harlow and Sgt. Pilot of RCAF-Three Rivers arrived in Chatham to spend a week-end furlough with the McIntyre’s of King St. West. The CDN 20/10/44 reported that Jean was reported on a 48 hour furlough before being poster to Niagara Falls. Jean was stationed at Niagara-on-the Lake in November of 1944 visiting with her parents Mr. and Mrs. A. W. McIntyre on King St. West in Chatham. CDN 11/11/44 Jean was arriving in Chatham from Niagara Falls to spent the Christmas week at the family home. CDN 18/12/44

The CDN 13/01/45 reported that LAW Harlow still stationed at Niagara Falls was on a weekend furlough at home with her parents 

Reported home on leave. CDN 27/01/45.
