The son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Hargrove of Sombra, ON.  The Wallaceburg News 20/03/41 reported that AC. Hargrove was stationed at the RCAF Manning Pool-Toronto and was given a week-end leave to visit his family. The WN 11/12/41 reported Sgt. AG. Hargrove had received his ‘Wings’ and commission after completing his training at RCAF-Fingal. Warren was on a ten leave at his home.

The WN 10/06/43 was one of a group of Canadian Fliers who conversed with the King and Queen, when their Majesties recently inspected a Canadian squadron stationed “somewhere in the English Midlands”. 

The Wallaceburg News reported that he was serving overseas, stationed in England.  WN-date unknown.
