Formerly of Lafontain St., Wallaceburg, ON. The WN 12/08/43 then driving truck in the RCAF. In a letter to his uncle Alex Deyo of Charlemont received a letter from Otis and describing the work of a RCAF trucker. “Some of the trips are as high as seven hundred miles”. When driving through Quebec province, he had a hard time being understood, where they don’t know English and he didn’t know French and could not read the menus. “I kept getting baked beans and more beans and he still doesn’t like beans.”   

The WN 27/01/44 reported that AC2 Hardy was stationed at No. 3 C & M. Unit at RCAF – Montreal, PQ.
