Married with a daughter living on Emma St., Chatham. The brother of Sidney who left Chatham in March of 1930, joining the British Mercantile Marine.   Jack enlisted in Windsor, ON. on 7 April, 1941.

Trained in Canada until September 1942. Posted overseas and served in England and North African Campaign. Promoted to the rank of Corporal.

It was reported in the CDN 17/10/42 that he had arrived safely overseas.

Discharged February 4th, 1946.
