Private Hall was transferred from the 91st to the 186th battalion going overseas Mar. 26, 1917.
He served in England until April 1918 when he proceeded to France with the battalion.
One month later he received wounds; was given treatment in England and returned to this unit in France.
While rushing a heavy machine gun ahead, Aug 27, 1918, he was killed in action, a bullet going through his neck.
