Private Gregg enlisted with the 91st battalion in Oct 1915. Afterwards transferring to the 186th battalion when that unit was organised. He trained with this unit in Canada and went overseas in Mar. 1917 and after a short training in England proceeded to France where he took park in all engagements with the 18th battalion until Nov. 11 when he was killed in action.
